Licensed in South Carolina and registered with the Department of Justice to practice Immigration Law, Attorney Hernández has been an integral part of the legal system since 2000, including 15+ years as a Federal Court Interpreter.
Fluent in Spanish and English, her Mexican heritage and personal immigration journey fuel her passion for advocating for clients navigating the complexities of U.S. immigration law.

Amber Brackett, a licensed attorney in South Carolina's federal and state courts, has been practicing law since 2014. Her areas of focus include domestic relations, immigration, real estate, and personal injury.
Prior to joining Angélica Hernández, The Law Firm, Amber ran a successful solo practice, where she also worked on wills, estate planning, and civil litigation.
A native of Campobello, SC, she graduated from USC Upstate and earned her law degree at Charlotte School of Law. In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and serving as an active participant in Taking Shape Star Leadership, a non-profit that develops youth leadership skills.

A native of Colombia, Mary holds a law degree complemented by two postgraduate degrees in commercial and tax law. Since making the United States her home, Mary has channeled her passion for law into the intricate field of immigration. She has steadily built her expertise in U.S. immigration law, combining her extensive legal background with a deep understanding of the immigrant experience. Diego Gomez brings a blend of academic excellence and practical experience to his role as an immigration paralegal. Since 2021, he has been a crucial asset in supporting clients through complex immigration cases, working diligently under attorney supervision.
In 2023, Diego enhanced his legal expertise by earning an LLM in U.S. Law from the prestigious University of Houston Law Center. Concurrently, he honed his skills at several renowned immigration law firms in Houston, Texas, before relocating to Greenville in early 2024.

Mila C. Pedace-Bennett
Milagritos C. Pedace-Bennett embodies the American dream her immigrant parents sought in 1963. Her journey began with a strong educational foundation at St. Thomas the Apostle and Northwest Catholic High School, followed by specialized training in computer and secretarial skills at Morse School of Business.
Milagritos's career path reflects her dedication to helping others. She began as a claims adjuster for personal injury cases in the insurance industry, gaining valuable insight into the intricacies of injury claims. In 1994, Milagritos made a pivotal career shift, becoming a pre-litigation personal injury legal secretary—a role she has excelled in for nearly three decades.
Throughout her career, Milagritos has been a beacon of hope for thousands, guiding them through the aftermath of traumatic experiences. Her extensive experience, coupled with her compassionate approach, has enabled her to make a significant impact on countless lives during their most vulnerable moments.

Jacqueline Juarez
Jacqueline Juarez currently helps in the Criminal and Family Law Department, assisting our clients in Spanish and English. Jacqueline has set her goals of achieving success in the legal field and helping out in the Hispanic community.
Jacqueline was raised in Dallas, Texas, and moved to Greenville in 2020. Jacqueline graduated high school a year ahead of her class and obtained her Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts just before she was 19. She is furthering her education and is set to graduate from Greenville Tech in Paralegal Studies in May 2025. After completing her studies, she plans to attend law school to continue assisting those needing legal help.
Among many accomplishments, Jacqueline has been on the Dean's List in 2024 at Greenville Tech, a Certified Notary Public, and Vice President of the Latino Student Alliance.
When she is not in the office, Jacqueline likes to take hikes in the mountains, spend time with her family, and learn to cook new recipes. She also helps out in the Hispanic community by providing resources or knowledge.

Nova's core responsibilities include managing morale-boosting initiatives, overseeing daily security patrols of the office perimeter, and maintaining an open-door policy for belly rubs. She excels at breaking the ice during tense meetings and providing emotional support during challenging cases.
When not performing her official duties, Nova can be found perfecting her tennis ball chase technique, conducting quality control inspections of the office water bowl, or attending to her professional development through advanced napping studies.
