Lydia Angélica Hernández earned her Juris Doctorate from Charlotte Law School with pro bono honors for her commitment and dedication to helping communities in need, after attending USC Upstate where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Attorney Hernandez is a member of the South Carolina Bar and is licensed to practice in this state. She is registered with the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review to practice in the area of ​​Immigration and Naturalization Law, in addition to being able to practice in the Federal District of South Carolina.

Another experience

She is fluent in Spanish and English and has been involved in the judicial system since 2000. She was a Federal Court Interpreter, Family and Criminal Court Interpreter for a period of more than fifteen (15) years before becoming an Attorney.

Roots

Attorney Angélica Hernández is proudly Mexican. She was born in the city of Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico. She grew up and grew up in the city of Chihuahua where he obtained a degree in Social Work. At the age of 19, she emigrated to the United States with her husband Hugo C. Hernandez. She lived for 10 years in the city of Amarillo, Texas where 2 of her children were born and learned English as an adult. She has lived in Greenville, SC with her family for more than 20 years, where her youngest son was born. She worked hard until she decided to resume her education and become an Attorney thanks to the unconditional support of her family, including her parents, sister, children and her husband.

Amber Brackett

Amber Brackett has been an attorney since 2014 and works on domestic relations, immigration, real estate, and personal injury matters. Prior to joining Angelica Hernandez THE LAW FIRM Amber was a solo practitioner. Her practice has also included wills, trusts, estate planning, and civil litigation. Amber is licensed to practice law in the federal and state courts of South Carolina and is a member of the Greenville County and South Carolina Bar.

Amber was born in Campobello, South Carolina and grew up in the Upstate area. She was educated at Chapman High School in Inman, South Carolina, attended the University of South Carolina Upstate and graduated from Charlotte School of Law.

When Amber is not practicing law she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in Taking Shape Star Leadership, a non-profit whose focus is instilling leadership qualities in our youth, and being outdoors.
